Travel information

  • Agadir Airport, officially known as Agadir Al Massira Airport, is located 25km southeast of Agadir. There are convenient bus routes to various areas of Agadir directly from the airport, plus taxis are available outside the terminal for access to the city.
  • If you want to hire a car we recommend you visit our online partner, Rentalcars.
  • Agadir sits in a 'rain shadow' that gives it more hours of sunshine and keeps it milder and drier than almost anywhere else on Morocco's coast. May, June and September are Agadir's best all-round months warm enough to swim, calm enough for a comfortable Sahara day trip, and priced below the July-August peak. Surf season splits into two: October to April brings the bigger, more powerful Atlantic swells, while May to September brings smaller, friendlier swells that suit first-time surfers. If you're chasing winter sun rather than swimming weather, December through February works well.
