Despite its size, Charlottetown is quickly gaining the reputation for being a foodie capital as well as the capital of Prince Edward Island. Seafood plays a major role, but there’s plenty of wonderful local produce to inspire the numerous chefs - and Charlottetown seems to have more than its fair share of great chefs.
The harbour is pretty, as is Victoria Park which is just behind it. There’s a gorgeous historic lighthouse at Point Prim, which is the oldest on the island and open to visitors.
