A trendy art-deco hotel in Helsinki’s fashionable design district. Simplistic scandi-design has had a touch of the wild here with zebra print sofas, richly textured fabrics and cool monochrome shades. Yet besides all this style the Nordic philosophy (and current world-wide obsession) of ‘Hygge’ has not been forgotten. Find glowing fireplaces, comforting food and a generally warm atmosphere. The staff have a large part to play in this with their ever-friendly service and in-depth city knowledge. The chic bar holds an excellent wine list and creates cocktails so pretty you’ll be sure to have your phones-a-snapping. With its excellent central positioning this is a winning choice.
