Hotel Review

Las Casas B+B is a slightly misleading name for this fabulous little hotel in the centre of Cuernavaca. Though small in size (there are just eleven rooms and suites), it certainly punches well above its weight in terms of your usual bed and breakfast. For one thing there's a bar and restaurant - a lively night spot with regular live DJ slots and a reputation for some of the best food in town; for another there's the beautifully done accommodation, which really is a cut above. The interiors are chic to say the least - the vibe is monochrome, though with a splash of grey thrown in to soften things up a little. Ensuite bathrooms follow the theme with plenty of smart white tiling, marble accents and some standalone tubs. But the lush garden really is the hub of the property. Not only will you find the bar and restaurant here, but you'll also discover a fab pool with plenty of loungers - perfect for cooling off after a day's exploring. And if that's not enough to relax you, the White Spa offers a range of facials and therapeutic massages. Las Casas B+B is a fabulous find and we'd highly recommend it whether you're coming for a short break, or using the city as a base to explore further afield.

What is there to do in the area? Right across from us, at the Palace of Hernan Cortes, you can admire some of the HUGE, impressive (and not so known ) Diego Rivera Murals. You can walk to all the best local museums, including Robert Brady, Museum of Contemporary Art Juan Soriano, SIqueiro’s La Tallera, Museum of Contemporary Indigenous Art & Centro Cultural Teopanzolco. We are also a walking block from the Zocalo, where you can watch locals mingle, hear street mariachis, and taste some of the best street food you’ll find in Mexico. The Impressive pyramids of Xochicalco, The Hippie town of Tepoztlán and the natural water spa Las Estacas are all a 30-minute drive from us.

What kind of breakfast do you offer? We call it the Best Breakfast in town and is abundant and applauded continuously by the guests. Ample Mexican and Mediterranen choices. The breakfast is fantastic: you can have a latte or cappuccino, fresh-baked rustic bread, freshly squeezed juice, fruits salads, and the main dish Mexican or Mediterranean. If you stay on a Saturday, you get the bonus of waking up to Sunday Brunch also included with your stay.

Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally? Yes, we are open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday Brunch. But we do have the best restaurant in town. that said, we do recommend a few places to visit for different reasons -Amomoxtly in Tepoztlán for lunch. -Casa Fernanda in Tepoztlán for lunch -Las Mañanitas at night for drinks - El Madrigal at night for that Hacienda experience.

Which are your most popular room types, and why? The suites and rooms facing the pool.
