This art deco hotel just outside Ibiza old town used to have a reputation for hedonism, but just like the island itself it’s grown up over the years. Not too much, though – there’s still a great vibe around its jewel-like pool and at the rooftop bar, both of which host regular DJ sets. Bedrooms are chic in a palette of whites and pale greys, with double sinks in the bathrooms and super-comfortable beds made for post-party slumbers. The best have their own balconies, where guests can sunbathe in private. Breakfast is served buffet-style at the hotel’s pool-side café-restaurant, which also does great burgers and salads throughout the day. Super-friendly staff make regular circuits of the canopied daybeds taking drinks orders, and the concierge can also arrange tickets to the hottest nights at nearby clubs. The hydrotherapy circuit of MIM’s small spa is the perfect morning-after recovery spot.
