“Expect a warm welcome at this authentic medina haven. Rooms lead off from a lush pool courtyard with an array of exotic plants and lots of cosy nooks & convivial areas to relax in, while the restaurant offers delicious seasonal cuisine. Great value for a well-situated, elegant and friendly base!”

Hotel Review

This elegant building within a few paces of the medina overlooks the exotic gardens belonging to the Catholic church next-door and was converted into a 11-bedroom guest house by its Belgian owners. This little oasis with its own courtyard pool, spa and rooftop terrace will appeal to solo travellers and couples. Centred round a verdant courtyard garden with banana trees, palms and other exotic plants, hidden down a back street close to Taroudant’s souks, this attractive building stands out, marked by its distinctive blue shutters. Rooms overlook the downstairs patio and across to the peaks of Toubkal and the Atlas mountains beyond. It’s a comfortable place to stay with an easy, welcoming atmosphere and plenty of places to relax. Rooms have open fires and spacious tadelakt bathrooms (some with bathtubs). There’s a peaceful rooftop terrace where guests can read, write and have tea. The cosy restaurant serves quality, well flavoured authentic food with a European spin. Staff are attentive and it’s probably one of the better places to stay within the ramparts of the city walls - good value, well situated yet tranquil.
