Hotel Review

This chic addition to the Melbourne hotel scene is a real winner. Situated in the historic Bank of Australia building on Collins Street (which dates back to 1876), Treasury on Collins embraces this beautiful landmark property and maintains many of its original features in the public spaces, whilst at the same time offering smart contemporary accommodation which will suit families, groups or business travellers. In fact anyone would do well to book here! There are a good range of suites, lofts and one and two bedroom apartments (the largest of which can sleep up to five adults) and all boast luxury accessories including Netflix as standard, Molton Brown Toiletries, plus a kitchenette and washing machine. We'd recommend booking a heritage balcony suite for your own view of Melbourne downtown! Other perks include a guest lounge in the mezzanine, an amazing space using the original building's features, where there are complimentary refreshments that guests can help themselves to throughout the day. A buffet breakfast is also served here daily. If you don't want to venture out into the city, there's a restaurant here too - The Bank on Collins is a popular venue where you can dine on traditional pub style fare. Treasury on Collins is the perfect place to stay for all types of traveller: whether you're in Melbourne for business or leisure, whether you're travelling solo, as a couple or in a small family group. Its superb location, and chic accommodation make for the ideal city centre base.
