• Winter or summer Hinterzarten is beautiful. During the winter, the temperature ranges between -6 and 3 degrees; during the summer, it can reach highs of up to 21 degrees but tends to sit at around 16 degrees.
• Fly to Basil International Airport in Switzerland, and get a train to Freiberg-Breisgau, from where you change to Hinterzarten. The journey averages at around 2 hours.
