Converted from a former lunatic asylum, the Edinburgh outpost of the Hotel Du Vin chain is located in the Old Town, within easy reach of its attractions and great for festival venues. The 47 bedrooms follow the chain's successful formula of elegant, contemporary style, supremely comfortable beds and great bathrooms. The bistro features a good mix of Franco-Scottish fare, plus there is a whisky snug and heated cigar bothy! On the downside, the property has no on site parking plus no spa or gym.
