Hotel Review

Quirky and cool, Hotel Saul is the latest addition to Tel Aviv’s burgeoning boutique hotel scene. Location alone is enough to recommend it: In the midst of the city’s hustle and bustle, it is also a ten minute walk from the beach. But there are many other redeeming features that distinguish Hotel Saul, from its ground-floor gourmet sandwich shop to the eclectic collection of art books stacked on shelves in the reception’s foyer. Bedrooms are a hipster’s dream, their industrial steel and exposed concrete aesthetic softened by handwoven Turkish linens and potted plants. With the city on your doorstep, it’s probably best to avoid switching on your HD television, its Netflix channel supported by the option to order a cinema-style bucket of buttery popcorn from hotel staff. You’ve been warned.
