About Mendoza Province

Welcome to Mendoza – Argentina’s wine capital and a sun-drenched gem tucked into the foothills of the Andes. It’s not just about world-class Malbecs and jaw-dropping mountain views; Mendoza also serves up a hotel scene as rich as its reds. Whether you’re after vineyard luxury with spa indulgence, a chic boutique hideaway downtown, or a cosy, budget-friendly base near Plaza Independencia, you’ll find the perfect stay. For sweeping vineyard views, head to Luján de Cuyo or Valle de Uco.

While the region is famous for its bold reds, the higher slopes produce crisp Chardonnays and Semillons that are just as worth exploring—especially during the extended harvest season from January to April. With around 800 wineries to choose from, there’s always a new vintage to discover, and wine hotels make it easy to sip and stay in style.

Beyond the vineyards, Mendoza is an outdoor lover’s dream. Tucked high in the Andes, it’s a base for everything from skiing and rafting to paragliding and scenic hikes. Or, if relaxation is more your speed, simply unwind with a glass of Malbec and take in the stunning views. The city itself is full of charm too, with leafy boulevards, historic plazas, lively cafes, and a buzzing nightlife. Whether you're chasing adventure or just looking to soak up the good life, Mendoza has you covered.
