Nestled along the Athenian coastline, 91 Athens Riviera–part of the Domes Hotel Group with luxury resorts in Greece and Portugal–offers a unique blend of nature and sophistication. Featuring 28 elegantly designed cabanas, each provide a serene escape coupled with modern comforts. Guests can choose from family cabanas accommodating up to four people, couple cabanas with or without private plunge pools, and accessible options with pools.

The resort's centre piece is the Barbarossa restaurant, renowned for its Mediterranean-inspired cuisine plus Asian influences. Open all day, it offers a fresh fish station and sushi selections. Dine while enjoying views of the Athenian coastline and Aegean, creating a memorable culinary experience. My favourite dish? The sea bass with greens that lingered long after the first bite. Barbarossa’s breakfast will set you up for the day too. Be sure to have their butter and chocolate croissants, handmade granola with dried fruits or mango cubes and Greek yogurt. It’ll take you right through to dinner, but if you feel peckish at lunch, enjoy a homemade cheeseburger with caramalised onions poolside.

Wellness is integral to the 91 Athens Riviera experience. The Soma Spa operates daily from 10 am to 8 pm, featuring a semi-Olympic outdoor heated pool, hammam, steam room, sauna, vitality pool, and experience showers. Five treatment rooms offer therapies tailored to guests needs, complemented by a relaxation room with comfortable beds and a selection of teas. The Athlos Fitness center is open 24/7, providing personal training, Pilates, and yoga sessions.

For sports enthusiasts, the Tie Break tennis club boasts ten courts—both clay and synthetic—available for guests and private members. It also offers healthy snacks and beverages to refuel after a match. If it’s a pure flop you’re looking for, unwind at the beach or by the pool. Beach sunbeds are readily available, but poolside loungers require reservation due to limited space in comparison to number of guests. The attentive staff ensure a seamless experience, from check-in to dining and leisure activities and keep in touch with you via WhatsApp.
Each cabana is thoughtfully equipped with Naxos toiletries–a brand made especially for Domes, sleeping masks, earplugs, and white noise machines, enhancing the glamping experience. TIP: For a quieter stay, you may prefer cabanas situated away from the reception and tennis club, though the alternative proximity to the restaurant may introduce some ambient noise.
