“Modern, stylish luxury in a 15th-Century monastery with a beautiful cloistered garden. Large individually designed bedrooms with luxurious fabrics and opulent marble bathrooms. An excellent gourmet restaurant and fab spa. Though it is seriously luxurious and sophisticated, also a great family choice”

Hotel review

Located in the heart of Milan’s fashion district, Four Seasons Milan was once a 15th-century convent, but despite much of the original frescos, columns and vaulted ceilings still visible, the luxury property is far from outdated. Opened in 1993, all 124 rooms and suites were refreshed and re-designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon in 2025. All guest rooms are now tech-enabled and furnished with Italian-made lamps, sofas and tables with views of either the former convent courtyard or shopping street Via Gesu. There are multiple dining outlets onsite including Zelo restaurant, which features authentic Milanese cuisine at an elevated level, Stillo Garden for aperitivo during the warmer months and also Camino where Italian wine discovery sessions are a must for self-professed oenophiles. There is an expansive underground wellness centre with an indoor pool, multiple sauna and steam rooms, as well as a high-tech 24-hours gym. Breakfast is a highlight with fresh pastries wheeled around on a trolley — for guests who want to experience la dolce vita in Italy's fashion capital.
