“Boutique hotel inside city landmark Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert. Rooms have parquet floors, wooden shutters, unique furniture and very chic bathrooms. Suites are in the eaves over two floors. Superb location, characterful and good value. ”

Hotel review

Although overlooking the grand, 19th-century Galeries St-Hubert arcade, with its classy cafes and chocolate shops, this hotel is so discreet it's easy to miss. Indeed, with its narrow plate-glass window and tiny, minimally furnished reception it's often mistaken for an art gallery. Bedrooms are similarly cool and minimalist with white walls and furniture, wood floors and careful splashes of colour in a cushion or bedside table. Bathrooms are big and glossy, most with free-standing baths. Most rooms overlook the arcade, with fantastic views of the architecture, but be aware they can be noisy until late evening. Breakfast in the airy restaurant with its pale floorboards and arty posters is a simple but relaxed affair with excellent coffee. With an excellent central location, everything is walkable, plus there's a courtyard for relaxing after a day's sight-seeing.
