Hotel review

Part of a successful boutique chain now spanning Colombia, Movich Chico 97 is a small, plush and modern establishment. it is well positioned for most business and touristic requirements, though the immediate neighbourhood has a predominantly officey feel to it. But it's extremely easy to escape northwards. Staff are efficient and friendly, rooms are functional, neatly furnished and decorated with a nod to local artists. Don't forget to venture up to the seventh floor for the gym and roof terrace at the top - but regrettably no swimming pool! Movich Chico 97 is sufficiently boutique not to be impersonal, and is an ideal base for those just passing through Bogota.
