Hotel review

One of the most iconic properties in Victoria’s wine country, Lancemore Lindenderry Red Hill is a place for gourmets and romance. A couples retreat in the great Aussie bush, Lancemore Lindenderry has been in operation for more than 35 years. Rooms are spacious and decorated like a simple family country house with vintage furnishings. The property has an indoor pool, sauna, tennis court and some rooms have a private jacuzzi and fireplace too.

The Dining Room restaurant serves dishes reflective of the region - dry-aged duck, Aussie wagyu and crispy Hawke’s Farm potatoes are some of the items on a rotating seasonal menu. Surrounded by wineries, Lindenderry Red Hill has its own winery and Cellar Door but if you want to taste the best of the region, head out to Point Leo Estate for a nice afternoon sipping award-winning wine, walks around a privately owned sculpture park and a memorable meal at revered restaurant, Laura with other well-heeled locals.
