Just opposite the Puerta de Atocha railway station and a mere 5 minute walk to the famous Reina Sofia art gallery, Hotel Atocha is ideally placed in the historic heart of Madrid, nestled amongst galleries, museums, restaurants and a buzzing nightlife. Ironically, guests have little reason to leave this paradise for they have everything at their fingertips. The Sep7sima rooftop bar has become a popular place to wine and dine in the area, and they regularly host jazz sessions. The bakery, which doubles as a cafe, is also a perfectly cosy place to read and while away the hours. The restaurant, Trotamundos, serves a great range of international cuisines, from exotic Oriental food to Tapas. The running club is also a perfect way to explore the area and afterwards, you can sit back and soak in the sauna, or get a massage. The rooms themselves are decorated in a sleek, minimalist design, with exposed red brick walls and parquet floorboards, modern chic furniture and artworks along the wall.
