Predi Son Jaumell is aesthetically heavenly, being nestled within a 16th century estate, its focus centred around a delightfully restored stone farmhouse, with beautiful rolling countryside and the historical town of Capdepera beyond. Lots of natural materials, such as exposed stone, wooden floors and old beams, plus an earthy, natural look promoted by wicker hangings, palm baskets, rustic rugs, and fabrics in muted shades ensure homely calm at every turn. Two fine restaurants (overseen by a Michelin-starred chef) and an inviting pool are a further strong attraction, while the tasteful, minimalist decor of the guest rooms successfully combines light, modern styling with traditional Mallorcan farmhouse features. Many of the 24 comfortable rooms and suites boast their own terrace, while the bright bathrooms are surprisingly spacious, typically with a freestanding bath, rain shower and twin basins.
