Hotel Review
This villa is a spectacular affair perched on the hilltop. A Byzantine building, marked by its domed rooftop and arched balconies, it brings history and romance. The gardens are the piece de resistance with their wisteria-clad pergolas, fountains, climbing roses, and stepped terraces. 13 elegant rooms are enormous and romantic without over-decoration. Marble staircases and floors, sophisticated bar area, and of course a lovely pool for cooling off. It's 2 miles from the beach below so a rental car might be necessary, but so worth the privacy.
