About Les Gets

Les Gets is a charming French Alpine village where snowy slopes meet vibrant après-ski fun, making it perfect for families, couples, and adventure seekers. Hotels here suit every style – from cosy budget stays to chic boutique boltholes and luxury ski-in, ski-out lodges. Families love being close to the gentle village slopes, while thrill-seekers often head for hotels near the Mont Chéry lift. Wherever you stay, you’ll find Les Gets delivers alpine charm with modern comfort just steps from the action.

Tucked just 12km from the Swiss border, Les Gets sits at the heart of the vast Portes du Soleil ski area, with over 600km of pistes stretching between France and Switzerland. It’s a dream for skiers of all levels, whether you’re gliding down gentle green runs, pushing yourself on black slopes, or seeking thrills off-piste. Add in a snow park for freestyle fun and scenic cross-country trails, and there’s no shortage of ways to make the most of the mountains. Off the slopes, the village has plenty to keep you busy too. Cosy bars and restaurants are perfect for warming up after a day outdoors, while the weekly market, cinema, and ice rink add to the friendly, lively atmosphere. Whether you’re planning a family getaway, a trip with friends, or a romantic escape, Les Gets is a crowd-pleaser.
