“A peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. Romantic rooms with antique furniture, intricately carved poster beds, and delicate medieval Rajasthani motifs on fabrics. Lovely swimming pool, shady courtyards and mosaic-work sitting room. Romance of another century.”

Hotel Review

Set well back from the busy road, this pretty haveli centred around two main courtyards, doesn’t feel as close to the buzz of the city centre as it is. The janana, where the women lived, is the smaller and most attractive courtyard – leafy, with rooms on two floors. The main difference in the (21 standard, 24 deluxe) rooms is size; all are traditionally decorated with good beds and bathrooms (many with baths). The lounge is decorated with original mirrored mosaicwork and mother-of-pearl inlay.
