When it opened as the Domina Grand a few years ago, this hotel on the outskirts of the city claimed to be the most technologically advanced in the world with its in-room audio-visual and computer equipment. Now it’s the norm (there’s a huge number of TV channels to choose from, and free wifi), and the hotel has changed hands, now called the oddly named Austria Trend. Bedrooms are extremely clean, elegant and cosy rather than minimalist, with attractive fabrics in red, yellow or black, comfy armchairs and clever swivel desks. The hotel also has its own Wellness Centre, with hammam, sauna, whirlpool and treatment rooms.
