Approached via a cypress lined drive, you don’t really get a sense of how lovely St Pierre de Serjac really is until you reach reception at the front of the Chateau. Here you get the full whammy: gorgeous period property, sweeping terrace, jaw-dropping infinity pool and vineyard views that just go on and on! Inside doesn’t disappoint either. Everything is beautifully considered from the chic design and original features to the opulent feeling furnishings and atmospheric décor (deep blues and greys which bring those chateau features to life). The self catering properties are all situated behind the chateau (so if you’re in the main building, you could be fooled into thinking that you’ve got the place to yourselves!). They have been carefully crafted from the original estate outbuildings and offer 36 units which can sleep between 2 and 10, the best with private pool. What all have in common is super stylish interiors, excellent hi-spec kitchens and either terrace or garden or both with outside dining area, barbecue and oversized loungers. But the best bit? You can enjoy all the luxury hotel facilities, yet have the flexibility of self catering! Facilities wise, Chateau St Pierre de Serjac is outstanding: lounge by the pool, have a game of tennis, boules or ping-pong, pamper yourself in the Cinq Mondes Spa or simply follow the way-marked signs and enjoy a stroll through the vines. The restaurant is also excellent; delicious seasonal menus with regular little tweaks according to what the chef thinks is good that day! On cooler days you can dine in the sophisticated dining room, otherwise it's outside for balmy evenings with superb food, fabulous wines from the estate and views to die for. New for 2024 is a mini-farm on the estate where children and parents can help the resident farmer Mario to feed the growing family of chickens, ducks, rabbits, goats, sheep and pigs! The new market garden is now supplying the kitchen with organic fruit, herbs and vegetables to be used in the farm to fork menus. The new bar truck is for special events, sundowners in the vineyards, oyster and wine pairing evenings
Quite simply this is a seriously good property in the South of France which will appeal to a wide audience — families or romantics, no-one will be let down!

Why do people love staying in your hotel? The authenticity of the 19th Century Château, the high ceilings, the stunning views over the vines, the modern bathrooms, stylish décor with freestanding rolltop baths in the luxury rooms. With a restaurant, bar, heated infinity pool and spa on site they are spoilt for choice.
What is there to do in the area? Walking or cycling in the vines - bikes provided; kayaking on the river Orb, beautiful Mediterranean beaches, hiking in the Languedoc National Park, ropes courses through the trees, historical buildings and visits, seafood restaurants, winery visits, horseriding, antiquing in nearby Pezenas…
What kind of breakfast do you offer? A hot and cold buffet breakfast at 18€
Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally? Yes, we offer lunch and dinner daily except for Mondays from November to April. The restaurant has a midweek lunch menu at just 25€ for 3 courses. We offer a full concierge service and there is a guest book in each house so you can see our recommendations and we can book them for you.
Which are your most popular room types, and why? Onsite as well as the hotel we have self catering houses and apartments. The most popular in summer are those with their own private pools. The luxury hotel rooms are popular year round for couples.
What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms? We offer cots and high chairs free of charge. A range of other items such as changing mats, sterilisers etc. is also available on demand. In summer our really popular kids club runs from early July to the end of August. We generally don’t offer extra beds because we have a range of 1 – 4 bedroom houses, some with sofa beds.
