To truly explore Carmel-on-the-Sea like a local you need to be willing to walk, and the Coachman's Inn is ideally located for this. Right in the heart of the action, you're walking distance from shops, restaurants and the beach- what more could you want? The main draw back of this central location is the possibility of noise from the street at night- choose your room accordingly. The staff are friendly and helpful and will assist in any way they can. Breakfast is a serious affair with a pile your plate policy. Stroll down to the beach for sunset- it will not disappoint.
