Colorful crockery and fresh bread and jams are provided daily for breakfast, and there are plenty of local markets in Setúbal to pick up fresh ingredients. Setúbal also has a host of great fish restaurants and fun bars, and there are lots of sandy beaches to explore nearby. For those who wish to stray further afield, the natural park of Estuario do Sado is under an hour away, with rice fields, beaches, dunes and pinewoods, home to an abundance of wildlife including dolphins, white storks and flamingos. Great location, great value.
