“A stay at Ladera is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Beautifully crafted wooden suites with private plunge pools open onto dramatic views of St Lucia’s Pitons. There’s no fourth-wall so use your water pistols to keep the wildlife at bay. Adult only, secluded, stunning.”

Hotel Review

The only resort on a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this is an exquisite place for those who appreciate nature (not for the lizard-loathing or fly-fearing). Each suite is perched high on the hillside surrounded by tropical planting to create a sense of seclusion. They are furnished to a high standard with locally crafted wood furniture, including swings over some of the plunge pools, and luxurious Molton Brown bath products, Nespresso machine and complimentary minibar. Dasheene restaurant serves excellent fusion food with plenty of local ingredients and is a destination for wealthy local families who come to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. The sulphur springs are just five minutes away and you can arrange for a therapist from the spa to accompany you to give you a massage with the nutritionally rich, black volcanic mud. No beach, but a shuttle runs to Sugar beach three times a day.
