“Location location….what better spot for proper, informal relaxation. Expect charming Beldi-style accommodation and a French-run restaurant with an extensive, daily changing menu overlooking the gloriously glassy lake and majestic Atlas Mountains beyond.”

Hotel review

With its stunning, ever-changing lakeside backdrop, popular French restaurant and simple Beldi accommodation, Le Petit Hotel du Flouka makes for a truly relaxing and unique destination spot. Owner and chef Jean-Charles Peuch is creative with the menu, serving French/ Moroccan fare that pulls a crowd at weekends and has European regulars coming back year after year. Rooms are comfortable yet simple with en suite bathrooms, fireplace and private terrace.

With two pools and an extensive, communal terrace, there is plenty of space to find an empty seat or sun lounger and read a book or drink in the incredible, magnificent vista. As the light gradually changes, so does the landscape. La Flouka is the name of a traditional sailing boat and the terrace bar is shaped into the design of a boat with sails for shade. You could be on the Moroccan riviera while watching little egrets flock together at the water’s edge. This is a place - for runaway couples, families and groups to properly unwind and immerse mind, body and soul in the incredible natural surroundings.
