Enclosed in a beautiful wooded park lies this gorgeous 19th century mansion with two turrets jutting into the sky. Built in 1881, she holds commanding views of the surrounding lushly green landscape, with all her meadows, woodland and mountains. It is like an island of modernity nestling amongst stretches of ancient farmland, a haven of luxuriate comfort: the Wellness Center is of particular note, having a hot tub, sauna and hammam, as well as a range of beauty treatments, massages, facials and pedicures on offer. There is a heated outdoor swimming pool too, sheltered by the thickets of trees enclosing the mansion. There is also a tennis court, trampoline and billiards room, and even a pinball table. The uniquely decorated rooms are spacious and bright, aesthetically combining antique furniture, rustic furnishings and exposed stone walls and wooden beams with flourishes of a stylish, nuanced minimalism, with parquet flooring, modern artworks, tiled bathrooms and quirky objet d'art. The 11th century Moissac Abbey is 12.4 miles away and is well worth seeing for it's medieval murals and stunning architecture. Golf is popular in the Tarn & Garonne, and several golf courses are in the near vicinity, including Les Aiguillons Golf Course, which is a 6 mile drive away.
