Hotel Review

Set amidst the rolling Apulian countryside, Masseria Salinola is an unpretentious boutique hotel offering an authentic stay in a seventeenth century Italian farmhouse. Family owned and run for generations, Daniele and her staff are warm and welcoming, going out of their way to make sure every need is catered to. Simple luxurious rooms with whitewashed walls and antique furnishings ensure modern comforts and rustic charm go hand in hand. This is a destination for foodies, with produce from the organic vegetable garden and extra virgin olive oil from the surrounding olive groves cooked up in the restaurant. The result is divinely fresh local cuisine – make sure to try orecchiette con cime di rapa and sample the regional Apulian wine on offer. Take advantage of the free bikes available to explore the surrounding area and head into the centre of Ostuni, famous for its pristine white buildings. This is Italian hospitality at its best.
