Tucked into the side of the mountains with views across to the picturesque village of Valldemossa and set amid immaculately kept gardens, this charming finca, once an olive farm, has been in the same family for five generations. Converted into a small hotel in 2002 by current owner Ignacio Ozonas, the feel is understated chic. Rooms feature bare stone or white washed walls, simple matting on terracotta tiled floors, cream linen furnishings and antique wooden furniture. The atmosphere is relaxed - guests are free to help themselves to an honesty bar, use the hotel laptop or borrow one of the DVDs to watch. Wholesome, flavourful food is served in an intimate dining room complete with the old olive press and breakfast is a delicious selection of buffet offerings. A truly special place, part of its appeal is undoubtedly down to manager Antonio, a heavenly host whose personality adds flair to the whole experience.
