In a UNESCO World Heritage site on the edge of Ibiza’s walled town, this colonial-style family home retains many original features. Mirador De Dalt Vila effortlessly combines its stylish traditional character – walls lined with pictures, surfaces of gleaming marble and green onyx – with all the modern comforts that you would expect from a five-star hotel. There are 13 rooms and suites, ranging from the extravagant Grand Suite with its huge living room, private sauna and wooden-decked terrace, to the equally comfortable smaller rooms. All are kitted out with the latest technology and offer luxury extras, such as a ‘pillow menu’. The restaurant, Es Mirador, serves delectable food and there’s an excellent choice from the cocktail bar and wine cellar. There’s also an outdoor pool and small business centre.
