“Converted fisherman’s cottages in a popular resort. In the thick of all things yet secluded - minutes from the beach, cafes, restaurants and shops. Freshly decorated in greens, whites and terracotta floors. A lovely sea front terrace to admire the views from. A low key spot for couples.”

Hotel Review

It’s all about location at the traditional green-and-white painted Embajador. A peaceful oasis in the busy seaside town of Playa Blanca, this former diplomat’s residence is pitched at couples who don’t fancy haring around in a hire car. Restaurants, shops and two fine beaches are all two minutes’ walk away, but the hotel itself is fantastically low key. The 12 rooms are plain but charming, with terracotta tiled floors and white or pretty blue walls. Relax on the geranium-packed sea-front terrace, or potter down to the sea via steps cut into the lava. No air-con.

See What They Say

A variety of things make this small family run Hotel, overlooking the strait of La Bocaina and the Bay of Playa Blanca, a very special place. These old houses from the begining of last century were bought by a Diplomat and were made into one, and established as his private home. He rented rooms to the first settlers to Lanzarote.
