“Modern aparthotel near Liverpool Street. Studios and one-beds with fully equipped kitchens, some with balconies. Ground floor bar serves artisan coffee, craft cocktails, and great food. Dog-friendly (with dedicated ‘paw packages’!). Urban living for adventurous spirits.”

Hotel review

A polished, millennial East London vibe runs through this historic building: warm colours, comfy sofas, and a bar clad in handmade tiles that acts as the natural meeting point. For a curated drinks list and speciality coffee, linger in the lobby-cum-breakfast area, where there’s a cutesy corner shop stocking artisan goods (at artisan prices). Wildfarmed flour pastries from Snapery Bakery, house-prepared dine-in dishes, and travel essentials like refillable water bottles. There's a dedicated dog menu, too.

Upstairs, studios and one-bedroom apartments feature fully equipped kitchens - bring groceries or takeout. They’re clean, functional, and some have balconies large enough for a sun lounger. Whenever you’re feeling lazy, simply wander downstairs for some house granola with coconut yoghurt and black bee honey, lox and schmear bagels, or a bacon bap with espresso-maple glaze. Digital nomad types will love the snack menu of wasteless toasties with artisan coppa and coastal cheddar. Five minutes from Liverpool Street Station and ten from Shoreditch nightlife and Spitalfields’ boutiques, Wilde Liverpool Street nails the balance between city convenience and a touch of indulgence.

Why do people love staying in your hotel? Guests love Wilde Liverpool Street for the total autonomy it offers when travelling, with a host of amenities delivering the utmost convenience, from fully equipped kitchens to the self-service shop offering gourmet meal kits, artisanal snacks and essentials. Guests also feedback on its stylish and considered design that echoes the Bohemian spirit of East London.

Adding to that sense of ease, the ground floor is a relaxed, warmly lit bar space inspired by the area’s colourful past, where local artists’ work brings the neighbourhood’s character indoors. The handmade‑tiled bar anchors the room, featuring deeply comfortable furniture and inviting guests in for a leisurely morning coffee or to unwind after a long day.

What is there to do in the area? The hotel is 10-minute walk from Shoreditch and just 5 minutes from Spitalfields, with its bustling streets, bars, restaurants, galleries and market stalls. Located in the heart of ‘The City’, London’s top tourist attractions such as the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and St. Paul’s Cathedral are all a stone's throw away.

What kind of breakfast do you offer? Breakfast is à la carte, with a wide selection of bakery goods and grains as well as delicious egg-based delights. Otherwise, guests can order a breakfast bag to arrive at their room door by 7am, with a piece of fruit and a freshly baked pastry.

And can you recommend good places to eat out locally? Wilde Liverpool Street's offering covers breakfast, lunch, dinner and light bites and has been designed by a nutritionally-trained chef. Created to champion sustainability and celebrate the local neighbourhood (70% of the menu is locally sourced), big flavours and delicious food remain the focus. There’s also a self-service shop open 24/7, as well as a selection of hand-prepared dine-in dishes and desserts.

Which are your most popular room types, and why? We find guests fall for different spaces for different reasons. Some gravitate toward the Hideaway Studio for its restful and cosy seclusion, others love the Studio with Balcony for a breath of fresh air, while longer‑stay travellers often choose our One Bedroom Apartments or One Bedroom Executive Apartment. And of course, the Wilde Retreat has its own devoted following thanks to its privacy, boutique‑style charm and lofty roof terrace. It's hard to pick a favourite!
