An unusual, pared back 7-suite riad within the Medina, where ‘pop art meets industrial chic’ that will appeal to couples and groups seeking a modern setting with super-friendly and efficient staff. Some rooms have wood burners providing an added bonus in colder months. 

When the French owners started work on this riad, stripping it back to the bare structure, they decided to keep the raw, industrial look and go for a more refined interior - understated luxury with a neutral palate and utilitarian feel. Exposed brick, bespoke ironwork, concrete pillars and beams and bathrooms with copper pipes on display create a warehousey backdrop, offset by a startling collection of pop art and retro furniture (all for sale). Well proportioned rooms are both comfortable and functional - generous beds with quality mattresses and notably soft pillows (not always the case in Morocco). Some suites have wood burning stoves which make for cosy nights during chillier months. The overall result is a calm-inducing sanctuary, enhanced by the charming staff who can help with recommendations, bookings and plans. Continental breakfast with viennoiseries is served between 8am and 1pm on the roof terrace with an extra charge for cooked options.
