“A grand Cotswold manor set in 12 manicured acres. Beautifully renovated rooms and suites are decorated with a fresh take on traditional design. Two restaurants (headed by a two-star Michelin chef) and a full-service spa with a hydrotherapy pool, make this ideal for a couples escape.”

Hotel Review

Whatley Manor is the first climate positive hotel in the UK.

This adult-only spoiling country escape, in an 18th century grade II-listed building, offers under-stated luxury, Michelin-starred dining and contemporary styling. With only 23 bedrooms, the service is super-attentive, and attention to detail is evident everywhere, from the complimentary homemade biscuits and elderflower cordial in all the rooms, to the free-to-hire bicycles. The bedrooms themselves are light and spacious, with state of the art bathrooms, and traditional features, such as beamed ceilings and hardwood floors, have been preserved.

There are two restaurants - the gastronomic Dining Room, and the more casual Grey’s Brasserie. The food in both is exceptional. The Aquarias spa is a good size and well equipped with an indoor/outdoor hydrotherapy pool, a thermal suite, salt scrub showers, and an extensive treatment list. Beyond are beautiful and extensive ornamental gardens.

For activities, horse riding and golf are nearby, but quite honestly you probably won’t want to leave the chilled and pampering vibe the hotel has created.
