A modern white building with an elegant curving facade, the Lone was Croatia's first "total-design" hotel when it opened in 2011. Croatian architects 3LHD collaborated with artists, furniture makers and graphic designers to create the Lone's unique identity. Planned around an oval atrium with a sky-light, the interior spaces are light and airy, affording views onto Lone Bay and the woodland of Zlatni Rt peninsula, just 15-min walk along coast from Rovinj's old town.
The 248 rooms, all with balconies, are decorated in earthy tones of grey and beige, with contemporary artworks and slick bathrooms - interconnecting rooms are ideal for families. You'll find excellent facilities, including a big freeform outdoor sea-water pool with whirlpools, rimmed by a wooden deck, sun-beds and lawns, plus an extensive spa offering massage, beauty treatments, and an indoor pool. Food-wise, the absolute highlight is Tekka by Lone, serving sophisticated Japanese fare, including sushi made from fresh Adriatic fish, and summery cocktails. In short, the Lone is hip and refined and appeals to design-lovers and escapists.

From 15 June to 15 September, children can take part in numerous fun activities organised by the entertainment team. On weekends, we have a Game lounge available with Xbox and Switch consoles and gaming on PlayStation 5. The Mini Club for children aged 4–12 is open every day for three hours in the morning and three hours in the afternoon. Children under the age of 4 are also welcome if accompanied by their parents.
