About Eleuthera

Eleuthera, a 100-mile gem in the Bahamas, is all about dreamy beaches, turquoise waters, and laid-back island vibes. Whether you’re after a chic luxury resort with infinity pools, a boutique hideaway in Governor’s Harbour, or a budget-friendly beach shack near Gregory Town’s surf spots, there’s something for every traveller. Families love the calm coves of South Eleuthera, while couples gravitate toward secluded villas in Harbour Island. Wherever you stay, expect stunning sea views and easy access to snorkelling, sailing, and barefoot bliss.

Eleuthera is the kind of place where you can slow down and soak up the charm of island life. You might wander through sleepy seaside villages, pedal along quiet trails once lined with pineapple fields, or spend your days out on the water, fishing, snorkelling, or diving into an incredible underground cave system. The beaches here are breathtaking, but there’s more inland too — like a refreshing dip at Ocean Hole or a peaceful stroll through the Leon Levy Native Plant Preserve.

Just offshore, Spanish Wells and Harbour Island are easy day trips, offering even more postcard-perfect scenery and laid-back vibes. Whether you’re here for a quick visit or a long romantic escape, Eleuthera and its neighbouring islands make a dreamy setting for unforgettable adventures — and more than a few idyllic honeymoon hideaways.
