  • Mazatlán is hot and humid in summer, with August temperatures averaging around 28°C and the wet season bringing frequent rain, so it’s best avoided if you prefer dry weather.
  • The weather is nicest from November to April, when it’s warm, sunny and drier. November and April can be good alternatives for fewer crowds.
  • Visitors can fly into General Rafael Buelna International Airport, around 20km from the city centre, and continue by taxi or local transport.
  • There are no direct flights from London Heathrow to Mazatlán, with current routes requiring at least one stop.
