Travel Information

• Kathmandu has a mild climate for much of the year, with hot, humid summers and a monsoon season from June to September, when heavy rainfall can affect travel plans.
• The best time to visit is during autumn (September to November) and spring (March to May), when skies are clearer and temperatures are comfortable for exploring.
• Visitors can fly into Tribhuvan International Airport, located just outside the city centre.
• There are no direct flights from the UK, but airlines including Qatar Airways, Emirates and Turkish Airlines offer routes with a stopover, usually taking around 12-15 hours.
