About Bucharest

Bucharest, Southeast Europe’s buzzing capital, blends grand architecture with a vibrant, modern energy. Whether you're drawn to the charm of its cobbled Old Town or the leafy elegance of Primaverii, there’s a hotel for every traveller. Think boutique stays near Unirii Square, luxe options in Primaverii, or budget-friendly picks around Tineretului Park. From stylish design hotels to comfy family-friendly spots, Bucharest’s hotel scene is as diverse and dynamic as the city itself.

Start your visit in Bucharest at the jaw-dropping Palace of the Parliament, an enormous relic of Ceausescu’s rule with over 1,100 rooms—officially the largest parliament building in the world. From there, dive into the city’s rich culture with a mix of fascinating museums, like the Peasant Museum and the open-air Village Museum, or explore ancient history at the National Museum of Romanian History.

You’ll also find no shortage of striking architecture, from the elegant Romanian Athenaeum concert hall to the medieval Curtea Veche Palace, once home to Vlad the Impaler. Tucked among the bustle are beautifully preserved Orthodox churches like the Stavropoleos, famed for its intricate carvings and frescoes. Bucharest is buzzing these days, with a growing arts scene and plenty of energy—so if you're planning a trip, it’s smart to book your stay early.
