If Four Seasons and Hampshire don’t make an obvious fit, that’s not to say that their London outpost hasn’t been a success with couples and families looking for seemless, undemanding luxury. Which means Four Seasons’ famously intuitive service, three dining rooms (wonderful Farmers’ Market brunch on Sundays) bar, fabulous spa and pool, and elegant, timeless rooms. Extras include children’s entertainment programme, canal boating, riding and clay pigeon shooting, all on the hotel’s own rolling estate. A Four Seasons world of its own, as expensive as it sounds. If you’re looking for a luxury bubble, international style, this is it. Try the excellent value day spa packages if you can’t afford to stay.
