Right next door to the Royal Dornoch Golf Course, Links House is ideally positioned for golf lovers, but this 180 year old manse house is much more than just a golfing destination. It’s also a luxury highlands resort, with a fine dining restaurant MARA, cosy bar, and a sandy beach just steps away. The hotel consists of three buildings, where bedrooms, suites and apartments house tartan clad furniture, luxury bathrooms, and manor house décor. Wood panelling, art and antiques, and original fireplaces, make each room and apartment feel like a home. An hour’s drive from Inverness, Links House offers the use of fishing tackle, bikes, and a tour of the gardens where produce is grown especially for the restaurant’s menu. All that’s missing is a spa, but with views like these and the sea lapping the shore just beyond the golf course, relaxation arrives naturally.
