Nita Lake Lodge channels that mysterious North American lodge feel straight out of Twin Peaks, in the pretty village of Creekside on the shores of glacier-fed Lake Nita.

Only 500 metres from Whistler Mountain's base and the Creekside gondola, it’s popular with skiers and hikers seeking peace away from Whistler Village. A complimentary shuttle connects guests easily, though well-marked paths through pine trees make the 45-minute walk to town equally pleasant.

Check into spacious rooms embracing muted forest green, beige and brown - some featuring four-poster beds. Wood and leather details are charming (without sacrificing style) alongside basalt stone gas fireplaces, heated floors, and lovely little balconies. Pullout sofas add flexibility, while double soaker tubs and supremely soft beds make everyone comfortable. 

The Den’s seasonal dishes spotlight farm-to-table dining and plant-based alternatives using garden-grown herbs, as Fix Cafe offers house-made pastries, breakfast wraps and coffee damn fine enough for Dale Cooper. Cure Lounge serves craft cocktails and local beers with casual share plates.

The renovated lakeside patio features a barrel sauna and hot tubs with Whistler Blackcomb views. The lake beckons with walking paths and a dock, complete with a plunge pool for cold-water therapy - plus complimentary canoes, bikes, and paddleboards come summer. Rustic and rejuvenating.
