A real labour of love for owners Anja and Nick whose hands are recovering from their hands on work on this wonderful project near Lecce in Puglia. Sitting in a 7 acre estate surrounded by orange trees and olive groves this elegant manor house has had its insides reconfigured and renovated and the exterior washed, scrubbed and hosed. The result is an elegant boutique hotel with 10 modern rooms and suites with high vaulted ceilings and plenty of space. Black parquet floors and black ceramic bathrooms are complemented by high tech designer lighting and Japananese loos with a female and male menu for washing and drying. Beds are huge, with plenty of pillows every room and suite has black out curtains ensuring a wonderful night's sleep, only to be woken by beautiful birdsong.

Open year-round Sa Suites is a great option for culture vultures or those looking to soak up the sun, relax by the pool or enjoy a game of tennis on the floodlit tennis court. Bicycles and ebikes are available to rent or you can join in with the Italians on their daily run on the pedestrian-friendly road known as 'heatlh street'.

The sun sets across the valley facing the bar and terrace on the first floor making it the perfect spot for a house cocktail or sundowner. Snacks are served from the bar throughout the day on the terrace or by the pool. Come the evening Anja works her magic in the kitchen mixing regional dishes with international flavours and there a plenty of delicious organic Puglian wines to choose from. A great choice for foodies and culture vultures.
