Hotel Review

This elegant boutique hotel in Rome is tucked away among the designer boutiques near the Spanish Steps, a superb location mere footsteps from the Via del Corso. The five cosy Superior Rooms, one Junior Suite, two Deluxe Rooms, Master Suite and apartment are tastefully decorated in muted tones accented with baroque treasures like giant gilt mirrors, oil paintings and mahogany dressers. Tea trays in each room are kitted out with kettles and Rosenthal china tea cups, or help yourself from the Nespresso machine and fridge in the communal kitchenette. Swanky minimalist bathrooms feature L’Occitane toiletries, overhead showers, fluffy robes and slippers. A courteous concierge offers a personalised service and is eager to make suggestions and reservations. For those wishing to cocoon themselves in luxury in the heart of Rome, look no further than this elegant pied-à-terre, it's one of the best places to stay in the Eternal City.

Crossing Condotti

Crossing Condotti is a quiet haven located in Rome's bustling but still villagey fashion district. The nine-room hotel has the simplicity of a guesthouse but the panache of a luxury hotel. The décor is a tasteful mix of antique and contemporary, with fine bed linens and textiles creating an aura of discreet opulence.
