Perched above the Cotswold village of Broadway, this 17th century honey-coloured farmhouse-turned-country house hotel has a cosy B&B feel. But what lifts it above the ordinary is its pampering spa, three exceptional dining experiences (in the restaurant, oak-panelled bar or chef’s table), and its sumptuous and stylish interiors.

Beautifully designed bedrooms are split between the farmhouse, the lodge and the more rustic Rose Cottage. Some come with four-poster beds, all come with natural and contemporary fabrics and furnishings, and the courtyard suites boast outside hot tubs for relaxing under the stars. Small dogs can be accommodated.

For nearby outings, you can explore the regency terraces of Cheltenham or visit the theatre at Stratford-upon-Avon, or choose from a selection of scenic local walking itineraries. There are also a host of rural pursuits available on the neighbouring 500 acre Farncombe Estate.

All in all, Dormy House offers an intimate, indulgent and supremely comfortable bolthole in a beautiful part of the Cotswolds.
