Set on a verdant hillside overlooking the Aegean Sea in Halkidiki, this luxury resort offers a stylish hideaway a stone's throw from the coast. With a range of villas available, from open-plan studios to two-bedroom family complexes, there is something for everyone at this contemporary Greek bolt-hole. Designed by architects Styliandis, the low, cube-shaped villas harmonise with the beautiful natural setting. Terraces, living roofs and the interior design palette all blur the line between inside and outside space. There are plenty of pleasing stylistic touches, like the vaulted arch corridors reminiscent of classic Greek architecture. While each villa has a plunge pool, the resort also offers a public pool with great views, plus an indoor pool in the spa. The hotel spa draws on the local tradition with mud baths and a hammam; have a look at the children's spa menu for a treat for the kids. Views from this stylish complex of villas, each with plunge pool, on a hill close to Mount Athos are stunning. The rather remote resort has its own restaurant serving local specialties, and shares a spa and strip of sandy beach with its sister resort opposite.
