Few hotels fuse hardcore historic architecture with contemporary art quite like this four-star hotel, at home in a 19th-century convent above the city of Lyon on Fourvière hill. All-white designer rooms evoke Le Corbusier; views are swoon-worthy and modern French dining is superb.
