“A family-run boutique hotel in the Dolomites, perfect for adventure-seekers, solo travellers and families. The property has an expansive wellness centre, indoor pool, terrace dining, and a 900-label wine cellar. Perfect for a comfortable retreat in the mountains, surrounded by nature.”

Hotel review

A pleasant family-friendly hotel run by the Costamoling family in the heart of the Dolomites, which is also UNESCO heritage site. All the rooms and suites are wildly spacious boasting modern alpine charm with furnishings reflective of the region. For families, there is also the Amonit residence which offers more space in an apartment-like setting. Catering to a diverse range of travellers, bikers who tour Alta Baida on two wheels will love the well-appointed indoor vitality pool, as well as having access to multiple saunas and steam-room post a long day in the saddle.

An all-season hotel, in the winter, the hotel is perfectly located to the ski lifts, and in the summer to the via ferratas and dozens of hiking trails which the friendly hotel staff can direct you towards or even help organise a guide with a picnic. Owner, Iwan Costamoling is also a sommelier of some repute so be sure to explore the well-stocked 900-label wine cellar.

The hotel also has a small museum in the basement which should not be missed – spoiler alert, there’s a bear fossil which was discovered by the family in the late 80s which dates back more than 40,000 years ago.
