Hotel Review

With a lawn that gently slides beneath the lake, Storrs Hall is a place of beauty that's steeped in history and poetry. An 18th century Georgian country mansion, where towering historical figures like Winston Churchill, William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter all stayed, it is the perfect place to inspire and unwind. With stylish rooms in keeping with classic and traditional styles, it seems almost plucked out of a period costume drama. Indeed, they hold afternoon tea every day, a favourite of the leisured British upper classes. The rooms come with views over the lake and the hotel organises boat cruises cross her waters. Not merely offering rooms, there is a boathouse with gorgeous panoramic views of the lake that is an ideal romantic getaway for couples. A recent £1m refurbishment has created six luxurious woodland cabins. There is also a restaurant and a bar nestled in the tower. They have 3 meeting rooms that can fit up to 40 people, making it a fantastic place for business seminars or weddings.
